Ambassador's lecture at Southern Denmark University
On November 17, 2025, H.E. Nata Menabde, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Kingdom of Denmark, held a lecture about Georgia at Southern Denmark University, at the invitation of the "European Youth of Denmark" (Europæisk Ungdom Danmark). Ambassador Menabde delivered a presentation about Georgia’s history, key aspects of country’s political and economic development, spoke about Georgian-Danish relations and highlighted country's cultural diversity and centuries-old traditions. Special emphasis was also placed on prospects for deepening cooperation among the students and youth, and expanding joint projects.
Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia on the 65th Round of the Geneva International Discussions
The 65th round of the Geneva International Discussions was held on 11-12 November, 2025, where the Georgian delegation was led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Lasha Darsalia. Georgian delegation made special emphasis on the core agenda items of the Geneva International Discussions related to the necessity of full implementation of the provisions of the EU-mediated 12 August 2008 Ceasefire Agreement by Russian Federation, and the safe and dignified return of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and refugees to their homes.
Georgian film at Cinemateket "East by Southeast" festival
On November 5, 2025, the Danish Film Institute (Cinemateket) hosted a screening of the 1929 silent satirical comedy "𝐌𝐲 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫" by Georgian director Konstantine Mikaberidze as part of the "𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐲 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭" film festival. The event was organized in collaboration with the Embassy of Georgia, the Georgian National Film Center, and the Danish Film Institute.
On October 12, 2025, a musical evening - “Georgia in Sound” was held at Vor Frelsers Church in Copenhagen.
On October 12, 2025, the Embassy of Georgia in Denmark hosted a musical evening - “Georgia in Sound” at Vor Frelsers Church in Copenhagen. The concert featured young musicians from the Danish ensemble Verdenslyd, who performed works by Georgian composers. The event opened with welcoming remarks from H.E. Nata Menabde, Ambassador of Georgia to the Kingdom of Denmark, who spoke about Georgia’s centuries-old musical traditions, its rich sacred and secular heritage, and the diversity of its musical culture.
The Embassy of Georgia hosted Students of the CSCD Youth Academy
On 9 October 2025, the Embassy of Georgia to the Kingdom of Denmark hosted students of the Center for Science and Commercial Diplomacy (CSCD) Youth Academy. ️As part of official training, during the event, Ambassador Dr. Nata Menabde delivered a presentation about Georgia, highlighting Georgia–Denmark bilateral relations, Georgia’s political and economic development, as well as country's rich history, unique cultural heritage and rich tourism and economic potential.
