Ambassador of Georgia held a meeting with the Permanent Secretary of the Foreign Ministry of Iceland

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia H.E. Nata Menabde, in the frameworks of the visit to Iceland, held a meeting with the Permanent Secretary of the Foreign Ministry of Iceland, Mr. Martin Eyjólfsson.
Issues of cooperation within the bilateral and multilateral formats, and possibilities of enhancing relations in the economic and humanitarian fields were discussed.

Ambassador delivered information on the current political processes in Georgia, also briefed the counterpart on the topics of regional security situation and other important issues of mutual interest.

Icelandic side reiterated its unwavering support towards the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia and its foreign policy priorities.
