Ambassador attended official events dedicated to Iceland's National Day in Reykjavík

On June 17, 2025, H.E. Nata Menabde, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Kingdom of Denmark and to Iceland, attended official events in Reykjavík organized by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Iceland in celebration of Iceland’s National Day.

As part of the program, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Iceland, Þorgerður Katrín Gunnarsdóttir, hosted a reception for the heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Iceland. Welcoming remarks were delivered by Minister Gunnarsdóttir and the Permanent Secretary of State, Martin Eyjólfsson.

A ceremonial reception was also held on behalf of the President of Iceland, Halla Tómassdóttir, at the Presidential Residence, Bessastaðir. The distinguished guests extended congratulations to Iceland and Icelandic people on the occasion of the National Day.
