Meeting of the Ambassador at the Danish Prime Minister's Office
On 6th of December, 2023, Georgian Ambassador Nata Menabde held a meeting with Annett Melgaard Skov, head of the EU Division at the Danish Prime Minister's Office.
The parties welcomed the active dynamics between Georgia and Denmark in both bilateral and multilateral formats. Special attention was paid to the European integration process, and the ambassador reviewed the progress and current activities of Georgia in fulfilling the priorities of the European Commission. The European Commission's report on enlargement published on November 8th 2023 was welcomed and positive expectations were expressed regarding the decision to grant candidate status to Georgia.
Annett Melgaard Skov reconfirmed Denmark's unwavering support for Georgia's European integration and noted that Denmark will consistently continue to support Georgia’s European agenda and respective reforms in the future as well.
