Georgian films at the Danish Cinemateket

Within the framework of the Georgian Culture Days in Denmark, on October 1-3, 2024 the Danish Film Institute Cinemateket hosted a retrospective of the Georgian films.
On the 1st and 2nd of October, the audience had the opportunity to see Tengiz Abuladze's "Repentance" and "The Wishing Tree", while on the 3rd of October Nana Mchedlidze's film "The First Swallow" was screened at the Cinemateket.
The Georgian movie screenings are the final part of the Culture Days, which has been held in Denmark since 24th of September 2024 with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sport of Georgia, in cooperation between the Embassy of Georgia, the Georgian Film Center and the Danish Cinematheket. In this context, on the 2nd of October, after the screening, the Embassy hosted a reception with Georgian wine. 
Notably, the masterpieces of the Georgian cinematography presented within the framework of the "Georgian Culture Days" were highly appreciated by the public.
