On June 7-11, 2023, โ€‹โ€‹the Georgian Wine Days were held in the capital of Denmark, organized by the Georgian National Wine Agency and the Embassy. The event aimed at promoting Georgian wine and increasing awareness of Georgia as a homeland of wine.

On June 7, a natural Georgian wine tasting was held at the Michelin-star restaurant "Ark" in Copenhagen, which was attended by about 20 representatives of the Danish restaurant industry. The representatives of the National Wine Agency provided the attendees with comprehensive information on the traditions of Georgian wine and winemaking, unique varieties of Georgian grapes, wine and regional differences in this regard.

On June 8, a screening of the scientific documentary film "Georgia- Homeland of Wine" was held at the "Grand Teatret" cinema in Copenhagen. Before the film, the guests were addressed by the Ambassador of Georgia to Denmark, Nata Menabde, and the representatives of the Georgian Wine Agency. The Ambassador spoke about the unique methods of Georgian wine production and the 8,000-year history of Georgian wine.

On June 9, a Georgian wine masterclass was held for representatives of the local "Horeca sector" in the tasting space located in the center of Copenhagen. David Tkemaladze, Deputy Head of the National Wine Agency, welcomed the attendees. After a short introduction to Georgian wine, a professional wine tasting was organized for the guests.

On June 11, the natural wine festival "RAW WINE" was held in Copenhagen, with the participation of 15 Georgian wine companies. 

As a result of the activities organized by the Embassy of Georgia and the National Wine Agency, Georgian wine is becoming more and more popular in Denmark. The demand for Georgian wine has increased, and accordingly, more restaurants and wine bars expressed willingness to have Georgian wine widely represented in their chains.
