Ambassador's meeting with the Rector of Roskilde University

On September 12, 2024, a meeting was held between Nata Menabde, the Ambassador of Georgia, and Hanne Leth Andersen, the Rector of Roskilde University, along with representatives from the University’s international office. Roskilde University is one of Denmark’s leading Higher Education Institutions, renowned for its innovative, experimental teaching methods and interdisciplinary research approaches.

Rector Hanne Leth Andersen emphasized the importance of acquiring practical knowledge and skills, as well as the university’s distinctive “problem-oriented” approaches to education., Ambassador Menabde reviewed the higher education system in Georgia, highlighting the active participation of Georgian students and researchers in European and international framework programmes, and noted the importance of expanding existing cooperation with Denmark.

Representatives from Roskilde University expressed their interest in partnership with Georgian Universities, particularly regarding the student mobility schemes and bilateral exchange programs.
