Georgian film at the Danish Cinemateket
On the 13th of February 2025, a screening of the film “Brides” by Georgian female director Tinatin Kajrishvili was held at the Danish Film Institute - Cinemateket in Copenhagen, in collaboration with the Embassy of Georgia and the Georgian National Film Center.
The screening was opened by Tobias Lynge Herler, Programs Director at Cinemateket, followed by welcoming remarks from H.E. Nata Menabde, Ambassador of Georgia to the Kingdom of Denmark. The Ambassador expressed gratitude to the co-organizers and highlighted importance of such events in promoting Georgian art and culture.
The event was attended by members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Denmark, representatives of the Georgian diaspora, and Danish guests interested in Georgian cinema.
Following the screening, a discussion about the film and its themes took place, accompanied by a glass of Georgian wine.
