Ambassador's lecture at Southern Denmark University

On November 17, 2025, H.E. Nata Menabde, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Kingdom of Denmark, held a lecture about Georgia at Southern Denmark University, at the invitation of the "European Youth of Denmark" (Europæisk Ungdom Danmark).

Ambassador Menabde delivered a presentation about Georgia’s history, key aspects of country’s political and economic development, spoke about Georgian-Danish relations and highlighted country's cultural diversity and centuries-old traditions. Special emphasis was also placed on prospects for deepening cooperation among the students and youth, and expanding joint projects.

Following the presentation, the students engaged in Q&A session, with active participation and interest in Georgia. At the end of the event, the participants also had the opportunity to taste Georgian cuisine and wine.

The University of Southern Denmark is distinguished by its high number of international students; among the attendees, along the Danish students, were representatives from various European countries, including Italy, Spain, Slovakia, Moldova, Ukraine, etc.

The event was held under the title “A Night of Heritage: Georgia”, an initiative of the European Youth of Denmark aimed at raising awareness of countries with unique cultural heritage. The first event held in partnership between the Embassy and EUD took place in May 2025, hosted by the organization’s Aarhus University office.
