The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Announces the 2025 Grant Competition – "Support for Diaspora Initiatives"
Purpose of the Program:
➡️ To support members of the Georgian diaspora and encourage their involvement in advancing Georgia's state interests abroad, as well as in strengthening the country’s international image.
❗️Priority Areas for This Year:
- Raising awareness about Georgia among younger generations;
- Supporting the development of cultural and economic ties with host countries;
- Organizing events that align with Georgia’s foreign policy objectives;
- Promoting the country's economic potential and Georgian-made products;
- Strengthening diaspora media to help maintain connections between compatriots abroad and their homeland;
- Organizing sports and other activities aimed at encouraging a healthy lifestyle and strengthening relationships among diaspora members.
✅ Who Can Apply?

Georgian citizens who have resided abroad for at least the past one year and hold a valid residence permit in the host country for at least the upcoming one year;

Applicants may apply individually or in partnership with a Georgian citizen residing in Georgia.

🏆 Selection Process:
Winners will be selected through a competitive process by a commission composed of representatives from: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, The Administration of the President of Georgia, The Diaspora and Caucasus Issues Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, The Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, The Ministry of Culture of Georgia.
